Mobile App Doesnt Seem to be Syncing

So, my husband and I updated our budgets on the web app, but we can't figure out how to get the new information to be reflected on the mobile app.

We followed the information found here:

The screen says that it updated, but it does not reflect the budget amounts in the web app.

 

Similarly, we added a couple of transactions manually on my husbands phone (Android, Galaxy S10), but they arent showing up in the web app.  We finally just added them manually in the web app as well so that we could get on with our budget meeting, but how the heck do we get the web app and the mobile apps to sync.   

The only help article we could find doesnt seem to resolve the issue.

      that is totally NOT acceptable. When you have 2 people using at same time this is the only way to stay accurate. Plus my hubby was swearing up down and sideways that he entered things and pulled down to sync but it wasn’t until today and I looked at his phone that I realized it wasn’t really synced.

  • We are having the same issue.  We just regained connectivity after spending 2 days in a national park & our phones disagree on one transaction, which the web app has, while our phones agree on another which the web app doesn't have.  Trouble on YNAB's end?

      Turquoise Sloth Because it's the start of a new month, EVERYONE is on, and it's overwhelming YNAB's servers. They've turned off syncing, and will turn it back on when traffic on their site quiets down.

  • Ours is a mess too. It was very frustrating. Now all our budgeted accounts are at zero for the month of February. YNAB is useless to us until this is fixed. We used to use Mvelopes until they broke down. I hope this isn't happening to YNAB as well.

    My iPad app synced last night but my phone app is still not able to sync up.

    I’ve tried resyncing, turning off and on, creating a new budget, returning to the original budget, uninstalling and reinstalling.

    Still nothing

  • Nope, scratch that, the iPad app has reverted to not syncing.

      Sorry for the trouble! We are finding that we had an extremely high volume of users excited to budget this morning and we had to temporarily decrease access to some services in order for everything on the back end to catch up. We are incredibly sorry for the disruption! We're working on getting things back up and running at full force soon!
