Budget Template to just track expenses for retirement.
Just want to show to monthly pays and automatically track expenses. I've already done my savings thing I just want a quick look so we can be on top of where the money is going. I'm a noob 3rd class so any instructions would be helpful.
ynab will be great for this! But it will not automatically track expenses, you have to reconcile expenses as they come through. Or you can log them when you spend them and then when they come in electronically they will match up and you will approve the match. For anyone who needs to tell their money where to go, and then track expenses, this is the gold standard! Think of it like having a whole bunch of envelopes of cash...except electronic!
When I got started I just kept taking all the classes and asking questions until I figured it all out. Give it a little time and just keep doing what they say in the classes and you will get it too. Ask questions here in the forum when you get stuck and everyone will help you out! :)
