Citi credit cards are not importing

Citi credit cards are not importing.  I've tried these institutions and none work:

    I’m sorry you are still having trouble, I would love to help! :) We recently made some changes to our direct import workflow, have you had a chance to try out the new troubleshooting steps? By the sound of the error you're running into, I'm hopeful they will help!

    Here's what you'll do:

    --Select your budget name in the top left-hand corner and choose Manage Connections from the drop-down menu.

    --Click the ‘Remove' button next to the Citibank connection (all of them, if there is more than one) and confirm the removal. Then hit the ‘X’ when it’s finished being removed.

    --Hover over the account that needs to be reconnected (in the left sidebar), click on the edit icon, and select ‘Connect to Bank'.

    --From the main connection page, select 'Add a Connection'. Search for the financial institution, and follow the prompts.

      I’m a new YNBA user and have been unable to connect to Citi via YNBA to start the connection. I’ve tried on different devices, browsers, waiting 24 hours, removing the account listing, and nothing works. Do you have any ideas on how I might resolve this?

    • Jannelle  Hi, I'm running into the same issue. This is the second time it has happened. This is the only bank that I'm having an issue with. I followed the steps to remove and re-add the connection but that did not work for me. Please help.

  • I didn't have to do it... apparently just waiting 24 hours did the trick.  Given that other people were complaining about the same issue, is it possible Citi was causing the issue?

      MapleLeaf Oh, that's great news! I bank with Citibank too, and I didn't notice a delay! But I have seen a few emails about Citibank come in recently, so it could've been something widespread that went as soon as it came! 👏 

  • I'm having the same trouble with importing transactions from Citi. I followed Jannelle's instructions and still cannot import transactions.  Any assistance is appreciated!

      I just took a look and it appears that your Citi accounts are reporting as successfully connected on our end. Are you still having trouble or have you been able to connect since then?

  • Still having issues here. Day 3for me. Have tried the remove connection. Also my husbands account isn’t connecting successfully either also Citi. 

    • NewYNABer BostonGirl I'm so sorry for the delay! Once a thread is marked as answered, we only receive responses if we're tagged, so I missed your response! I just took a look and see that your Citi accounts are connected, but I still wanted to apologize for missing this!

  • Same deal for me. Citi won't work after dropping the connection and readding it about 3 times.

  • Same for me. I had trouble a few weeks ago. I removed and readded, but that did not work. It started working the next day all on its own, but now it is messing up again and is now on day 2 or 3.

    • Outside The Box It sounds like there was a hiccup a while back, but things look like they're back up and running now. Sorry for missing your comment initially!

  • Same behavior for me.  A few weeks ago citi accounts stopped sync'ing and couldn't be re-added. Then, they started working again.  A couple more weeks later and direct import can't connect to them again (this is happening happening for the last 2+ days).

  • Just want to add my name to the non-working Citibank group.  Also, American Express is not working.  Went through the steps on the Help, and went through the steps in this thread.  I sent in a help request online.

      Sorry I missed your post! I'm no longer seeing a Citi or Amex connection in your budget. Are you still having trouble there? If so, try reconnecting those accounts and I can take a look if they give you any errors! :)

  • I too can't log onto citibank for my Costco card account. I am on my free trial and really want to use this program but this hasn't worked right at all this month. Might be a deal breaker!

  • Same issue for m new to YNAB and I haven't had any problems with most accounts.   I can't import form my Costco Citi card.  Trying logging into the web site with no issues.

    • Salmon Thunder I have the Costo Citi Visa as well, and it's not connecting any more either. should work as it reroutes to , but it no longer works. What's up with this YNAB?

    • Salmon Thunder I was able to reconnect today to the Costco credit card via Citi using the list choice.

    • Salmon Thunder I'm sorry I missed your post so long ago! When you have a moment, can you try re-accessing your YNAB account and adding those connections? If it gives you any trouble, please let me know!

  • I am also having trouble with Citibank. Because at one point I lost my cc and they replaced with a new number, there were multiple accounts in the account. YNAB seems to connect without a problem but then it asks me to choose which account to link and doesn't show ANY accounts in the selection box. I tried unlinking the older cc in my citibank account but YNAB still thinks there are multiple accounts. (I tried removing and relinking and same YNAB response of multiple accounts of which I can choose none). Any ideas?

      Are you still having trouble? I took a look and that Citi connection says there's one account successfully connected. Are you looking for other accounts?

    • Faness All good with Citibank now! I wasn't able to connect PayPal however. Will try again today...

    • Cadet Blue Foal I took another look, but I currently don't see a PayPal connection listed in your account. Give it another try and if it still doesn't connect, just let me know! :)
