Cant log in.. Getting Uh Oh!

I am logging in and receiving the following error. I have cleared my cookies and also incognito and still the same. Help.

Uh-oh!

  • I tried using my Samsung phone, and then the site via laptop. I couldn't log on both times. What's going on Ynab?

      Pink Deer I have done that, mobile app reach out, and other emails that I know of but most auto respond "see you in 24 hours" lol sigh.

  • Oh good... I thought I broke YNAB by logging in with two PCs at the same time.

    Check the API section post "Is YNAB down" - apparently that is where we were supposed to get this information, instead of on the status page, or in an official post here. Ugh.

      That looks different because that user was rejected.. the response was "{"id":request_blocked","message":"Request blocked"}}". Probably a 401 or 403 HTTP code. This is 500.. they have a bug on their end and their stuff is crashing.

      Response is

  • I am sitting here trying to do my budget and I think to myself what I can do while I wait for the site to come back up.. I think "oh, lets look at the scheduled transactions to see if I have all of my bills........" sigh

      Eric Poulin I am leaving town and was wanting to get bills done before I left... Guess one benefit of SaaS is that I can bring my bills with me.. It was just not something I wanted to deal with later on.

      RIP_MSMoney Earlier today, I updated my budget with a major income transaction... now I wonder if it really was accepted. That was noon. I can recreate all of what I did earlier today (it was multiple transactions in multiple accounts)... but it will not be fun.

    • Faness That's completely unacceptable. It shouldn't be possible that your team doesn't know within seconds that the app is down. There also should be either an automated message or a workflow with a very simple template to inform your PAYING customers. 

      If the IT support staff at my job let things go as long as you guys did just now, with literally zero communication to customers, they'd be job hunting in the morning. If you're going to move to a subscription based service and keep raising the price with every iteration of the product, you absolutely cannot keep getting worse at communicating with the people whose money makes your job exist.

      Sorry for the inconvenience! Our development team was aware of the issue and working on a solution. The forum has not been used in the past as an immediate alert for issues to our users, but I'll work on better incorporating it in the future!
